Nancy Durst (Irene’s daughter) and her husband Bill (who live in Pacifica, California) have a 16-year old son Russell who is a passionate and sometimes an obsessive fisherman – kind-of like his Uncle Mike Conran, his Grandpa Chuck Conran and yes, even his Great Grand-Mother Millie Knaphus, Torleif’s first wife. Of course, Torleif and his brothers were all avid fishermen – being from Norway and all.
Nancy wanted to surprise Russell and turn his bathroom into a fisherman / family history retreat and asked us what photos we had with that theme…and thought you might see what we found, then how the bathroom turned out. |
